BOUTROS Gallery biedt opkomende schilders een platform waar hun werk op integere en toegankelijke wijze ontdekt en beleefd kan worden. De galerie bevindt zich in een burgerwoning uit 1901 en grenst aan de leefruimte van de bewoners, wat voor een laagdrempelige en authentieke bezoekerservaring zorgt.

Schilderkunst blijft relevant en actueel. Schilderijen behoren nog steeds tot de meest opvallende en populaire werken in de hedendaagse kunstwereld; ze maken het gros uit van de werken die we op kunstbeurzen te zien krijgen en de veilingrecords blijven jaar op jaar voorpaginanieuws. In BOUTROS Gallery vertrekken we vanuit de esthetiek, waar verf en pigment als atmosferische en poëtische componenten worden herkend.

BOUTROS Gallery offers emerging painters a platform where their work can be discovered and experienced in an honest and accessible way. The gallery is located in a townhouse dating from 1901 and adjoins the residents' living space, creating an informal and authentic visitor experience.

Paintings are still among the most striking and popular works in the contemporary art world; they make up the majority of the works we see at art fairs, and auction records continue to make headlines year after year. At BOUTROS Gallery, we start from aesthetics, where paint and pigment are recognized as atmospheric and poetic components.

Because the boundaries of painting are still being pushed, among others by conceptual artists, we also focus on mastery and innovation. That is why the gallery wants to grow further into a space where there is room for research into what painting can be in this day and age and what evolution it will undergo.
